Too Much

Sun Mar 26, 2006, 7:54 AM
Argh. I hate this I have too many assignments!
First off i knew one was coming and I can deal with that one because it is simple until we start building the damn pyramid. All I have to do is finish writing up the report and that project is for Ancient Civs. It should be a real big pain in the ass to make the pyramid.

Sociology is the one that is driving me crazy. it seems like she wants to punish the three people who went to Italy. I mean I have like no time to find 6 references and figure out 3 different resources I mean the library has nothing and i dont like looking for things in newspapers which is what i am going to have to do because the internet can only work for 4 sources because she didn't say that had to be equal. Basically I have to have those by tuesday and I mean come on I have other things to do on the weekend and stuff. Everyone else had the march break to find all their references and stuff. Then we have to write the intro, conclusion, topic sentences and the sites we are using for each paragraph. I cant write topic sentences unless I write the whole paragraph which is what I'm going to have to do.

Then I have this mini history thing but it wont take that long now. Because he was saying that at the moment we don't need the outline but we might later on. Which means I will most likely have to write an essay. ARGH!

Luckily I had a test in math on friday otherwise I would have had alot of math hmwrk this weekend. We keep getting all these stupid assignments and they take forever to accomplish because there are so many different questions to answer.

When is this madness ever going to end? Oh yeah the end of the year when school is over. I hate this semester.

Back from italy

Sat Mar 18, 2006, 9:50 AM
I got back on thursday night at like 10:20. It was so much fun! I wish i didnt have to leave though.. But i did want to come home.. The flight there was worse than the way back... even though the flight there was a night flight and the one back was a day one and people thought it would be really hard to get used to time here again. I didn't really have jetlag i may have been tired and fell asleep at 7:30pm on friday night but i do that every day when im at home because i never get enough sleep during the week i believe either that or im just always tired.

Our first stop was Venice. And Venice being Venice it rained. But then the sun came out and it became fun. We went to a glass blowing place which was cool. The guy made a vase like thing and a horse. When I was there I bought a blue glass gondola which looks soo cool. Then we had a tour of the city and it was awesome. Then some of us went on a gondola ride and it was fun. The gondola person rocked the boat and freaked me and adriana out but other than that it was fun. At the end Adriana got up and rocked the boat alot just because we saw something that looked really wierd in the water and it was on the opposite side of the boat than she was sitting on. After we tried to find somewhere to have lunch and it was difficult because none of the places looked like they had good food. But we did find somewhere and it wasn't the greatest but it was food. That took up part of our free time i cant remember how much free time we had but it was alot and it felt like 5 1/2 hours. Since we had an hour before our tour and after the glass place we had already walked around the square. So we had to figure out something to do. There were alot of pigeons in the square so we ended up feeding the pigeons for about 2 1/2 hours and it was fun because they just fly right at you and you dont know where they are going to land. Then we went into one of the museums that our ticket let us into. It was huge and finding a bathroom was difficult because it was like at the end. But first off trying to check our bags into the locker room was so hard because the guy didn't speak english and we have a feeling that he was making fun of us because other people around us were laughing because they spoke italian. After we went to play with the pigeons until we had to meet to take the boat back to mainland. The boat ride back was really fun we were out front even though it was extremely cold.

I'm going to edit in the rest of the trip later once i get more time.

Italy

WHOO! I'm going to italy on wednesday!! WHOO! I'm going with the school.. The history department actually.. theres about 30-40 of us going its going to be so awesome! I come back on the 16! its like 8 days in italy! The only thing i dont like about it is the fact that we have a layover in frankfurt, germany.. for 4 and half hours!!! :( both to and from and we have to switch airlines too... at least the flight there is at night :) it means i can sleep but the one back is a day one which means i will be able to feel the turbulence at least i get a break from it with the layover... i cant wait though i wont be able to concentrate in school tomorrow.

Finally

The first day without exams and today sucks... I went out to the mall expecting to have fun instead I felt like I was on the outside watching my friends the thing is one of them actually talked to me like I was there the other 2 just talked and acted like I wasn't there... I mean I know its normal and everything but I feel like its been happening alot more... The thing is I dno I feel like I've been forced to put on a happy face and act like everything is ok because everytime I try to say something they just say that it will pass and to get over it. Another thing that is bothering me is not knowing whether or not I'm forced to take math again.. and I really want to know because I don't want to be in chemistry and then be forced to switch classes.. I want to be able to go to the math class if I have to right away instead of having the hassle of switching.

The Break

I'm sorry i wasn't on in awhile it was just that i had nothing to post, and i didn't have much time. I kept getting assignment after assignment and then I had a Course Culminating Assignment to do which took a day or 2 and then christmas came, and I got my wisdom teeth removed so I haven't really been wanting to go on the computer and mainly just watched tv. I might be on a little bit more now... it just depends on how my essay goes and then the next week and when I get back to school how much homework i get since we weren't there for 2 weeks...
